The Xanelé Longs Pattern Expansion was borne out of my Xanelé Shorts having become such a wardrobe staple during the warm seasons, that I just couldn’t face the approaching cooler months without having the option of the comfort and versatility that the shorts had afforded me. After having received many emails and messages from other sewists expressing the same sentiments I decided to bring the Longs to life.

The resulting pattern expansion offers both a slightly cropped, straight leg option as well as a tapered, full length trouser. Just like the Xanele Shorts these elastic-waisted pants offer a beginner-friendly project resulting in an easy-to-wear pair of pants that can be styled up or down depending on your mood.
